Johannesburg - Media personality Khanyi Mbau is celebrating "four decades of breath, beauty and becoming".
The self-proclaimed "queen of bling" took to Instagram on her birthday to pen herself a letter reflecting on her journey in the entertainment industry.
"I do not celebrate birthdays, I honour endurance. Four decades of breath, beauty and becoming. Thank you Khanyisile for housing my essence, for keeping the flame alive while my soul remembered its wings.
"Here's to the vessel that made it possible for the spirit to return home. In abundance queen rise! Forever wealthy, kept and soft, I love you," she said.
The actress shared a cute video of her flowers dedications and well wishes for her birthday.
"This is the best birthday in my entire life. Thank you universe," said the actress.
Meanwhile, her little brother - popular content creator - Lasizwe Dambuza shared a heartfelt reel of their best moments together.
"Happy birthday @Mbaureloaded! We've been through so much, yet we always find our way back to each other, makes sense why you are my Bri to my Bry.
"Wishing you joy and peace in everything you do! You are loved Khanyisile," he said.
